Alex has spent 8+ years at the intersection of storytelling, strategy, and community, working across film festivals, entertainment PR, and social media to help brands and creatives find their voice and their audience. A graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a degree in Mass Communication, her work with The Bex Company began as a college internship, where she cut her teeth on lifestyle brand social media with RugLock and CPRWrap.
During her first chapter with the company, Alex also played a key role in talent-facing guest services at Fantastic Fest, one of the largest genre film festivals in the world, along with the Chattanooga Film Festival, where she developed a sharp instinct for high-touch hospitality and seamless experiences. She recently stepped back into that world as Guest Relations Assistant at the Cleveland International Film Festival in 2025.
Alongside her festival work, Alex has built deep expertise in social media strategy, community management, influencer partnerships, and brand building, working with national brands across the e-commerce and luxury interior design spaces.
Outside of work, Alex is a proud dog and cat mom who enjoys spending time with her furry family members. A creator at heart, she channels that same energy into cross-stitching, gaming, and seeking out new adventures, including frequent escapes to Universal Studios for a little inspiration.
“Bex and Sadie finding their way to us at the Cleveland International Film Festival was an absolute dream come true. From the very beginning of our first Zoom meeting together, I knew we were on the same wavelength and that they could without a doubt fill the shoes of our previous long-time Guest Relations Managers. They joined the CIFF team during one of the most complicated years in the organization's history, but adapted with ease, grace, and humility. Where you won't find ego in this duo, you will find a spirit of teamwork, dedication, and tenacity. Not only did I fully trust our organization's reputation in their hands, but I've personally learned so much from their approach to problem-solving and their unwavering commitment to delivering results. This team will undeniably bring immense value to any team or project."Mallory Martin, Creative Director
